Why this chair?

Platinum is the Exo you’d choose if you want the chair to blend in with your interior: a light-coloured or jet-black shell, mesh details, different castors. Recaro positions it as a companion to a gaming PC or console, not as a different seat from the Exo itself. If you’re primarily after the 5D armrests and aluminium base, you can stick with the Exo FX.
