RECARO Speed Star

The RECARO Speed Star is the sporty entry-level model in the Star range of swivel chairs. With its long, flat seat, pronounced shoulder and lateral support, stylish seatbelt slot and an integrated headrest, it is an original Recaro car seat mounted on an office base. Synchronous mechanism, gas spring for height adjustment, 3D armrests. Sturdy enough for long periods of sitting, with the look and feel of a sports seat, not an anonymous office chair. BCS Europe is the Recaro importer for the Benelux.

Why this chair?

The Speed Star is for those who want a Recaro at their desk, in the sportiest form available in this category. It has fewer adjustment options than the Specialist or Expert: no separate lumbar support, but it does feature the bucket seat design you’ll recognise from car seats. The Cross Sportster Star is the slightly less sporty version, featuring 4D armrests. Gaming chairs (Aer, Exo, Nxt) are Recaro Gaming models; this Star car seat on a base is not one of them.
