Rally legends Walter Röhrl and Christian Geistdörfer are at RECARO in Kirchheim today to have seats individually customised. For a reproduction of the legendary Audi Quattro S1 two authentic racing shells are to be customised for the two drivers. Is it really 25 years ago that the two of them won in this car? How time flies! A thought that undoubtedly also went through the minds of the RECARO specialists who customised the racing shells for the famous driver and his co-driver a quarter of century ago and who were immediately recognised again by Röhrl and Geistdörfer – a big hello all round! We are naturally also proud that Walter Röhrl continues to put his faith in the quality, comfort and safety of a RECARO seat: “I’ve now got 40 years of a career in motorsport behind me and I’ve always driven safely, well and successfully in a RECARO seat – and that’s how it’s going to be in the future, too!”
