It does not get better than this: The RECARO Sport Seat Platform (RSSP) from RECARO Automotive Seating was named as one of the Best Products of 2016/2017. The Plus X Award, now in its 13th year, is one of world’s biggest innovation prizes for technology, sports and lifestyle products. The Plus X Award jury of independent industry experts had already bestowed their seals of approval for Innovation, High Quality, Design and Ergonomics upon the RECARO Sport Seat Platform (RSSP) in February. “We’re particularly pleased that we’ve now emerged in the overall ranking as the best automotive seat of 2016/2017,” said Michael Schnoor, Director of Engineering at RECARO Automotive Seating, at the award ceremony. “For the RECARO team, the award is a clear signal that we chose the right priorities in concentrating on lightweight design, modularity and customization in developing the RSSP.
