Swivel chairs
A swivel chair from BCS Europe is no ordinary office chair. It’s a RECARO chair on a swivel base: the same seat contour, lateral support and finish as in a car, now in your workplace or games room. This ensures you’re seated firmly, you can easily reach your desk or screen, and you have a chair that looks like it’s straight out of a car.In our showroom in Opmeer, the swivel chairs are ready for you to try out. You’ll immediately feel the difference compared to a standard office chair: better support in the seat and backrest, a lower seat height, and that distinctive RECARO look.
RECARO swivel chairs for the office and home
The models in this category are from the RECARO range, which you may also recognise as sports or gaming chairs, such as the Specialist Star, Expert Star, Cross Sportster Star and the Exo and Aer models. Fitted with a swivel base, these chairs are ideal for use behind a desk, as part of a desk setup or in a man cave. Not just any old office chair, but one that supports your body during long sessions. As BCS Europe is the official importer of RECARO in the Benelux, you’ll receive genuine chairs and matching bases – not copies.
Why choose a swivel chair rather than an office chair?
A classic office chair is designed for sitting upright. A RECARO swivel chair is based on a car seat: a contoured seat, side bolsters and, often, a distinct lumbar support. This is ideal if you sit for long periods, play video games or want a workspace that feels more sporty. You can swivel towards your desk, a second screen or someone in the room, without having to stand up. If, on the other hand, you’re looking for a traditional office chair or executive chair, take a look at our range of office chairs. For a gaming setup featuring the same RECARO range, the gaming chairs are the place to start.
Trying on clothes in the showroom
When choosing a swivel chair, you should consider the seat depth, width and how firm the side support is. You can’t tell that from a photo. Pop along to Opmeer (De Veken 110), make an appointment, and try out a few models. We’ll help you decide on the base, upholstery and whether the chair is best suited as a swivel chair, an office chair or a gaming chair.
