One of the biggest stadia in Japan, the Nagai Stadium, has been fitted out with new seats from RECARO. The stadium was built in 1964 and has a capacity of 50,000. It is also the home stadium of the Cerezo Osaka football team. Many Japanese stadia are now being brought up to European standards. In 2011, the Todoroki Athletics Stadium, home of the Japanese national side, was fitted with RECARO seats. Further stadia are set to follow.
